Frequently asked questions

Is termin.email GDPR-compliant?

Yes. termin.email has been built on the principle of data minimisation from day one: encrypted credentials, a genuine deletion concept under Art. 17 GDPR, data subject rights (access, export, deletion) built into the product, and no tracking.

Is termin.email accessible under the BFSG and WCAG 2.2?

The public booking flow meets WCAG 2.2 at level AA and therefore also WCAG 2.1 AA, which the German Accessibility Act (BFSG) currently requires through the standard EN 301 549. We checked every criterion one by one, including keyboard operation, screen reader labelling, colour contrast, target sizes and language markup. See our accessibility statement for details.

Where is the data hosted?

On a server in Nuremberg, Germany. Encrypted backup copies are also kept in a data centre of the same provider in Helsinki, which is likewise in the EU. No data is transferred to third countries outside the EU.

Does termin.email work with my existing calendar?

Yes, via CalDAV — including Nextcloud, the Hetzner calendar, mailbox.org and Posteo. Google and Microsoft accounts are not currently supported.

Do I need technical knowledge to set it up?

No. We set up your tenant; you then define event types and availability yourself through the web interface.

What happens with a double booking?

Double bookings are technically impossible — a database lock prevents two bookings on the same time slot, independent of the application logic.

Is there a video integration?

Yes, via Jitsi Meet or as a static link to an existing video room. BigBlueButton is coming in a future release.

Can I manage several staff members or locations?

Yes. termin.email is multi-tenant, supports multiple user accounts per tenant, plus group bookings and round-robin distribution across a team.

What does termin.email cost?

The price depends on the feature set you need. See our pricing page for details; we put together a quote on request.

How can I get in touch?
